Henrik Andersen

Danish guitar virtuoso, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and vocal percussionist. Among his instruments is a 52-string guitar built for him by Linda Manzer. Henrik Andersen was born and raised in Copenhagen. He graduated from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen 1995. Henrik has performed professionally as a guitarist and vocalist since he was 18 years old. He studied Carnatic music (Indian music) with Trilok Gurtu(IN) and Pete Lockett (UK) and it became an important element in his compositions.


He specialized in vocal percussion styles such as beatboxing and konnakol and has taught and given konnakol and guitar masterclasses all around the world. He has written his own guitar symphony "På Herrens Mark" - commissioned by the Moscow Philharmonic - and performed with his fusion quartet Music Spoken Here here and as a soloist in "The Mediterranean", a concerto for guitar and symphony orchestra by John McLaughlin. Henrik Andersen founded the World of Guitar Trio with Roman Miroshnichenko (RU) and José Antonio Rodríguez (SP) And the trio's "Perfect Strangers" won the award for best instrumental album at the 15th Independent Music Awards in 2016 where Henrik Andersen's "Moon over Tanjore" also won the award for "Best Traditional World Composition" Henrik has been nominated several times at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards and his latest solo album "The Shape of Sound" , which a.o. contains the music for the Out of the box theater performance by the same name, received an award of honour in the USA Songwriting Competition 2022. 


Henrik Andersen is a theater artist who has worked as an actor, written scripts and composed music for performances with several Danish theater companies: ParkTeatret, TeaterTasken, Teater Refleksion and Opgang2. And abroad: with Branar Téatars (IE) Theater Monot (LB)   Henrik Andersen is also known as a professional cartoonist

Simona Zanini

Theater actor, dancer, street performer and singer. Educated at the Teatro Tascabile school in Bergamo led by Renzo Vescovi, of which she was a member from 1995 to 2005, with the idea of ​​a total artist, able to use various scenic techniques to model her own body and develop vocal qualities .Simona participated in several international tours with the theater, which she left in 2006. She continued to perform and spread the techniques she possessed (Indian classical dance, stilt dance, physical training and vocal techniques) by collaborating with several different theaters and directors. In 2017, she moved to Denmark, where she, after numerous experiences and experiments, especially in dance,  met Henrik Andersen, with whom she began the close collaboration, which continues to this day with the activity in Out of The Box Theatre.Since 2021, Simona also embarked on an experimental journey with performance techniques and modern theater with Il Pesce d'Oro led by Samanta Cinquini and Micaela Leonardi.
